Bread Fundamentals

We will take you from the basics of bread making to exploring international breads. We will cover classic favourites like bagels, pizza, and burger buns, as well as advanced techniques for creating artisanal breads like Baguette, Focaccia, Challah, Pita, Fougasse, and Ciabatta. By the end of the class, you will have a solid understanding of bread making and be able to create a variety of delicious breads from around the world. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced baker, this class is the perfect opportunity to expand your baking skills and impress your family and friends with your homemade bread creations.

Sugar Arts

Sugar art is an edible art that involves working with sugar pastes such as fondant, gum paste, modelling paste, royal icing, and more. In this class, you will learn to create intricate sculptures and fondant figurine decorations using sugar paste to adorn your cakes and pastries.

Pies and Tarts

This module is designed to train students to create visually appealing pies and tarts, ranging from sweet fruit-filled pies to savoury vegetable and cheese-filled quiches.

Throughout the course, students will learn the fundamental techniques for making perfect pie crusts and tart shells, as well as how to fill them with a variety of delicious fillings. They will also learn how to decorate their pies and tarts using various pastry techniques, such as lattice tops, decorative edges, and intricate cut-outs.

Eggless Baking

Explore the world of baking without eggs!!. Eggless baking can be fun and a rewarding experience as we cover lot of rich recipes and also talk about eggless substitutes or replacement.

Chocolates

In this module master the chocolate making techniques from tempering of couverture chocolate to make shine , snappy Bonbons to truffles and other confectioneries.

Cake Decoration

This is a comprehensive Certificate program in baking that is designed to teach each module in an elaborate manner with both practical and theoretical knowledge. This will help them to recreate recipes of pastries and desserts that are timeless and treasured.

Classic French Pastries and Macarons

We’ll start by teaching you the basic techniques of French pastry making, including making dough, piping techniques, and baking. From there, we will move on to the specific recipes, starting with the Classic Opera cake , Eclairs, Paris Brest and more.

Bakery Project Plan

This is an interesting module with lot of understanding of topics like baking techniques, Kitchen safety and hygiene, Recipe selection, Recipe testing, business plan, business project, group discussions and presentation.

I happened to be in Bangalore for some commitment and searched for two days baking class for which Celesteyum Academy name came up and I contacted them. After checking theirs reviews I enrolled for the class and enjoyed the learning experience. Shobha mam was very professional upfront and very elaborate in briefing about the basics of baking cake. Their team members were highly knowledgeable and helped me in creating a cake as per my likings. At the end of two days class I felt confident of baking my own cakes. Also, I enrolled one to one class for bread making with Shobha mam which was truly amazing as I learnt the basics of bread making to few advanced techniques of making pesto breads. We made buns, pizzas, sandwich breads and pesto bread. An absolutely magical experience and something to takeaway. As my instructor for baking Shobha mam and Celesteyum Academy will always have a special place in my heart. I would be looking forward to learn few more baking techniques especially sourdough and cookies.

This was the best decision i have ever made.if you want to recoup yourself this is the right place . Especially darling shoba mam she is the founder/ chef / mentor of celesteyum academy,chef yaswant sir ever charming person, receptionist divya she is also a lovely person and chef jagdeesh he helps us lot . Overall this place is full of positivity.i took 6 week diploma course and successfully completed here.Also I own a cafe ,hence I need to upgrade myself,i came here.Someone like me or a homebaker can come and upgrade yourself.

5 stars for Celesteyum Academy! I attended the Sourdough Breads hands-on class in January, and it was a fantastic experience. Chef Shobha is a brilliant instructor—her polite nature and incredibly neat workspace made the whole process so enjoyable. I was looking for a short course and that is when I came across Celesteyum Academy.
It was an excellent experience where most of the basic skills was covered in chocolate making without overwhelming us. We had lots of hands on training .Shoba mam was very friendly and also a very knowledgeable person who is always willing to help us without hesitation. I just finished the 4-Week Entrepreneur Baking Course at Celesteyum academy and it was nothing but incredible.

This program is a perfect blend of how to bake like a professional and how to actually run a business. The classes are completely hands-on. I learned the much required techniques for baking breads, cakes, confectioneries and desserts, plus the crucial business stuff like figuring out costs, planning deliveries, and making my products look great.

Chef Shobha and Chef Yashwant are such an amazing teachers. They are so experienced, patient, and genuinely passionate about teaching. They help you build the confidence and mindset you need to succeed, not just giving you recipes.

So, I was a last minute enrollment into their 4 week entrepreneurial baking class since I was visiting home from the US and thought of getting my hands on to learn new skills and Voila, I got away feeling proud of making so many of my favorites that I never even dreamt of creating one day. All thanks to Shobha ma’am ( a baking Goddess), Shaama ma’am (a baking diva) and the entire staff of interns helping us to nothing but excellence! It’s a thoughtfully curated class that gives you no time to think of breaks but motivates you to push and remember what you signed up for. This academy is truly a great place for learning and growth. There is lot of growth potential in here .The teaching methods are very clear and practical and well explained which makes each and every session more and more engaging and super effective. The supportive environment ( student friendly) and dedicated faculty ( highly experienced Chefs ) help students build in their confidence right from the grass root level and help with achieving their goals.

Overall It's such a great place to learn! The classes are fun, especially The Center Head ,teachers ( Chefs ) and all other staff are very kind and Supportive, always friendly and the atmosphere there makes you feel comfortable all along.

I had visited the Celesteyum academy recently, along with my wife Sudha, who completed a 1-day Breadmaking course. (Picture Attached).
As a lover of good healthy and tasty bread and baked items, I was keen to see their facilities.
I am highly impressed with the world class infrastructure that they have! Example: I could see, professional industrial level equipment including high end Ovens, large Dough Kneading machines, Large Fridges/Chillers as well as Croisant making machines, to name a few!
These are manned by experienced Chef/Teachers and assistants. Ms. Shoba and her team had a structured teaching program with theory and practical hands-on demonstrations.
They do have longer term professional classes which will be ideally suitable for women who want to join this profession or start their entrepreneurial journey.

I found the 2 days bread workshop to be a useful learning experience especially for someone who learnt what mistakes I have been making when learning from YouTube.

The workshop provided practical instruction on bread making as Amira's teaching was clear and easy to follow and she answered all my questions patiently and helped me clear up all the fundamnetals that is needed to be strong in foundations.

Her hand movements are amazing when shaping the bread and she is very quick help identify the correction and give valuable feedback. Thank you, Amira & the institution for organizing such an effective 6 breads in 2 days )
